Kennedy
Peter Kennedy was the Consultant Chest Physician at Severalls Hospital and at Colchester General Hospital between 1971 and 1997. Following retirement in 1997, he and his wife Doreen became Wivenhoe residents. Peter became Arts Editor of Wivenhoe News in 2003, helping to swell its 40 pages with news and articles about the many local artists, authors and musicians, and the many arts events which take place in Wivenhoe every month. He is often to be found attending or helping at Wivenhoe's events. In 2007, along with Chris Tanner, he was a founder member of poetrywivenhoe which has become a thriving local society.
