The Wivenhoe Encyclopedia

Angie performs at a Charity Choral Concert in Chelmsford Cathedral at 7 for 7.30pm on Saturday, 7th February, 2004.

The concert will feature the South Woodham Ferrers Male Voice Choir and a ladies choir called The Swift Singers. Angie Diggens, aged 16 will be the soloist playing her organ and singing.

The event is in aid of three charities: Farleigh Hospice, Hope and Homes for Children and The Orchid Cancer Appeal, each will receive a third of the proceeds.

We are delighted to have in attendance The Lord Lieutenant of Essex, Lord Petre and the Mayor of Chelmsford Councillor John Hunnable and the Mayoress.

This will be the eleventh annual Choral Concert to be held in the Cathedral raising many thousands of pounds for various charities.

Tickets cost £7.50 and are available from the Chelmsford Civic Centre hotline on 01245 606505, Ralph Hayden on 01245 400513 or on the door on the night.
