               PAM’S CHALLENGE  - No. 1

 Easter Monday 21st April, 2003 at 1.30pm

Local resident Pam Glover (born with cerebral palsy) has already struggled to walk once in her life.

Now, recovering from a recent spinal injury, she is struggling to learn to walk again - correctly this time!

To give her a goal in her walking programme, she has challenged herself to walk one statute mile to raise the necessary £5,000 needed for building a wheelchair accessible W.C. for her church, the Congregational Church in Wivenhoe High Street.

Pam’s walk will start and finish at the Rose & Crown on the Quay and will take her along West Quay, Ferry Road, West Street, High Street, Station Road, Ferry Road, and back along West Quay.

Please join First Great Eastern and Bovis Homes in sponsoring her and come and give her your support on the day. Click here for a sponsor form.
