Jacqueline
Thomas, The Engine Shed’s Arts Development officer said: “The Engine
Shed is the inspiration behind the Local Motion Project.
Building on the industrial heritage of the area, the Local
Motion Project aims to capture the dynamic and creative spirit of
Wivenhoe today turning abandoned, disassembled things into new assemblies
of people who create new things together.”
Artistic
Director, Julia Usher, added: “A network of Colchester artists and
musicians are working together with people who have never been artists
before to create new and vibrant work that expresses what we feel about
our lives in North Essex.”
