Creative Arts Fun Day: A series of events and consultation sessions will start with a Fun Day. Saturday September 13th 2003 will be your chance to take part in unique and exciting cross-arts experiences. The day is a chance to try out all kinds of activities designed to release your artistic potential by working with artists & musicians. 

Action East has arranged the following activities:

- a Poetry Factory where you will be able to Step into a NanoPoem or Hear the Robotic Choir. 
- a Scrap Shop where we hope to build a giant scrap engine. 
- You will also be able to contribute to our scrap book and an audio-visual record of the day. 
- the Sound Factory, in the Royal British Legion Hall, will be a combination of movement for children and adults with Wiggle and Groove; 
- Singability! Workshop to help you to find your voice; 
- the family Adventurama and drum and chant sessions.

The Sound Factory will reach a finale with the People Powerhouse involving drums and body sculpture. Enter the heart of the machine. Help create its music. Listen to its sounds. Discover its secrets Help make a blueprint for a techno wonder! Bring your own musical instruments!
