A SERVICE OF RE-DEDICATION FOR THE RE-FURBISHED

WIVENHOE WAR MEMORIAL

This service will take place on Saturday 31st December 2005 at 12.30 around the War Memorial.  The service will be conducted by Pastor Patrick Baxter, Chairman of Wivenhoe Royal British Legion.  Please accept this notice as a general invitation to all Wivenhoe residents, especially those who contributed to and raised monies for this refurbishment.

The balance left over will be presented to the representative of Halsey House, one of the R.B.L’s care homes, as specified in the original concept of the War Memorial Fund, to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to help those who survived and now need our assistance.

Margaret Clary
Secretary, Wivenhoe Branch, Royal British Legion

Members of the British Legion would be particularly pleased to see at the Service relatives of anybody whose name is on the Memorial.
