| 18 June 2005 - A new bus shelter
near Millfields School
On
Saturday 18 June the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and four other councillors
accompanied Mr Len Leach as he cut the ribbon for the official
launch of the new bus shelter at the Bowes Road – Alresford Road
corner.
Residents
of that end of Dene Park have long campaigned for a shelter there
and Len thanked the Town Council for at last finding grant funding
for it.
