public. Details of these facilities, booking details and charges are given

OUTDOOR FACILITIES:
- 3 Floodlit Outdoor
Tennis Courts
- Full Size Floodlit Synthetic Turf Pitch for -
5-a-side, football or hockey
- Frisbee Golf Course (see video on the University web site)
- Watersports Centre at Brightlingsea
- Orienteering Course
- Petanque area

INDOOR FACILITIES:

- 4 Glass Backed Squash Courts
- Sports Hall for Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball,
Trampolining etc.
- Dance / Martial Arts Studio – fully air conditioned

with 60 stations catering for both free weights, fixed weights and
cardiovascular machines

Public Prices
The
prices for members of the public fall into two categories : Member and
Non-Member. Annual membership of the Sports Centre costs £12 for public
users (please bring a photo for the membership card), and entitles users
to the member prices.

Fitness
/ Aerobics Cards
Customers have the option of buying
annual cards for use of the fitness room, aerobics classes or a joint
card. An example of the options for users is shown below :

Paying per visit (£3.50 per visit to the fitness room)

Buying an annual card (£200 Cash for the fitness room)
·
Buying a monthly Card (£26 for the fitness room)

PROCEDURE
When
is the Sports Centre open?
The
Sports Centre is open: Mon-Fri : 8am-10pm
Sat-Sun : 10am-6pm
How
do I make a booking?
All
sports facility bookings that go through Reception run on a maximum 7 days
in advance booking system.
Bookings can be made over the telephone (01206 873250) or in person for
single facilities i.e. squash or badminton courts.
Large facilities (i.e. those larger than single court size) need to be
paid for at the time of booking.
How
can I pay ?
We
accept credit and debit cards as well as cash and cheques.
Can
I make advanced bookings outside of the 7 day booking period ?
It
is possible to make an advanced booking for a large event. Please contact
