Theatre to do "Treasure
Island"
On 10th August, Wivenhoe Youth Theatre will begin its two weeks of preparation for its summer production, which will this year be "Treasure Island" adapted from Robert Louis Stephenson's book by Phil Willmott.
The show will be
performed in the Wivenhoe Centre in Phillip Road on Thursday 21st,
Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd August at 7.30pm,
with a Saturday matinee on 23rd at 2.30pm. Tickets can
be obtained from the lower Wivenhoe Post Office and from the Spar at
Wivenhoe Cross.
The group is
delighted to announce that it has received three nominations for awards
from the North East Essex Theatre Guild for its Three Act Festival for
2007-2008 (final awards to be announced in September).

Young Actress for B Svistunenko for Marjorie in "Bed"

Young Actor for Robbie Taylor-Hunt for Couple Man in "Bed"
