Wivenhoe in Wonderland

For the past ten years young actors known as the Wivenhoe Youth Theatre have taken part in a two-week summer workshop in the Wivenhoe Centre. 

This year they are putting on the show ‘Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass’. 

From Publicity to Costumes and Set to Acting, the whole old school building is transformed into a magical theatre.

“ There’s so much to do, lines to learn, costumes to make and set to paint….” From Humpty Dumpty to the Queen of Hearts, and the Dormouse to the 5 of Spades; there’s more characterisations involved than ever before. You will see Alice in a totally new light!
