For the past ten years young actors, local to Wivenhoe have taken part in a summer workshop 
in the Wivenhoe Youth Centre.

“It’s such a fantastic experience. A great way to work in a theatre company environment and make some fab new friends!! But be prepared for a lot of hard work, the standard is high but everyone’s always so friendly and helpful you forget your working!”

Wivenhoe Youth Theatre is always looking for new members! No experience is needed so as long as you are between 12-21 years old and have a love or longing to act and do backstage work as well you will be welcome! If you are not stage struck and would just like to gain experience in backstage work then come along as well, because acting is not compulsory!

Summer workshop dates: 13^th-27^th August 2006

It is a huge commitment (even more so than usual) so make sure you are available for the whole period!

A comment from Holli:    We need as many people as possible this year! It's 'Alice in Wonderland' and it will be a huge project and a major commitment.... I aim to make this Youth Theatre production a great achievement and hugely rewarding for everyone involved! Do come and join in.
