13th September 2008 - Wivenhoe Society Fun Day

We were blessed with a fine day (one of the few events this summer not rained on) for the Wivenhoe Society Fun Day. This was held in the grounds of the Congregational Church and many local organisations had stalls, and the Congregational Church ladies provided refreshments. A bouncy castle was a popular with the children, and there was also a lucky dip and the opportunity for them to buy a joke! Other stalls had jewellery, cards, knitted goods, plants, bric a brac etc.

The Wivenhoe Society would like to thank all the stallholders and helpers for helping to make the day a success.
