Bank Clean Up - Sunday

In addition to the Wivenhoe Society’s regular twice-yearly clear-up of the Wivenhoe Trail and upstream river bank in October 2004 we got together once again with the Sailing Club to clean up downstream from the old shipyard. This joint effort had been suggested by the Sailing Club because of the practical difficulties of getting the bags of picked litter back to the skip in the shipyard - WSC members collect the bags by boat when the tide comes in.
