About 50 people enjoyed the slide lecture by Don Smith on 12 November, organised by the Wivenhoe Society - fascinating glimpses of old Wivenhoe and its residents, accompanied by a commentary in Don's authentic north Essex accent.  

Our thanks to Don and the team of cake and tea-makers for putting on an enjoyable evening.  At Don's suggestion, the Society has made a donation of £30 to the East Anglia Children's Hospice from the proceeds.
