| 24th January, 2003. The Wivenhoe Society announce
plans for another clear up of the Wivenhoe river bank of the River Colne. This will take place on Sunday 6 April. Volunteers should assemble at Wivenhoe station car park
at 10.00 am. Wear sensible boots or wellies. Work
gloves of a sort are provided, but it is a good idea to bring your own
stout gardening gloves. The job is usually over by 1 p.m., but anyone who
can spare just an hour will also be welcome.
