Watercolour Challenge on 13th September at St. Mary's Church,
Wivenhoe.
In
addition to the painting competition itself, Bill Heslop, organiser
of the Wivenhoe Watercolour Challenge is hoping to encourage local
AMATEUR artists to exhibit inside Church this year. Paintings
will be displayed on special stands at £2 per picture, space
permitting. Artists do not need to enter Challenge in order to show
their work, but pictures should be framed and strung with all
details ready for display.

Note:
Judge
for the event this year will be Richard Taylor of Clacton, who
is a nationally-known artist, tutor and demonstrator, author of
6 widely acclaimed books on art topics, magazine articles and
video presentations, who has kindly offered his expertise on behalf
of FOSM fund raising efforts.
