Touchstone Folk Dance Club

-  Meets at the Wivenhoe Congregational Church Hall every Thursday, 8.00 - 10.00 pm.

-  Membership is £1.50 when you attend, which includes tea and biscuits

-  Guest Callers every week

-  Occasional band

We are Folk Dancers who do a wide variety of dancing from 17th Century Playford to Modern American Squares. Everyone is welcome and you will find a warm friendly atmosphere if you join us. Come along and give it a try.

The first evening is free to see if you enjoy this type of dancing. We also run at least two dances throughout the year at Village Halls in the area where we have guest callers and bands from all over the England.

We also go to other Folk Dance Club's Dances throughout East Anglia on a regular basis so you can find a Folk Dance on most Saturday evenings. There are also Folk Festivals around the country which many of us go to and enjoy.
