May 2005  - Wivenhoe Players back on stage again.

"The Importance of being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde, is being directed by Brian Ford on behalf of the Wivenhoe Players and will be performed in the William Loveless Hall on the 23rd, 24th and 25th June.

Cost of tickets for all nights will be £5.00 and tickets go on sale on the 31st May, available from the Londis and the High St. Post Office.

Doors and bar open at 7pm , with the performance starting at 7.30pm .

This funny and well known play will be a welcome return for the Wivenhoe Players, whose last show was the hugely successful "The Darling buds of May" in May 2002.

And here's the cast. Some familiar faces, but in the context of the Players!? Now where is the mouth organ and shouldn't there be a guitar or two somewhere?

Do come and support them.
