History of Hotch Potch

Conceived in Hazel Laurence's front room some time in 1983, the following shows have been staged: 

Hotch Potch 26th November,1983
Hotch Potch II 1st / 2nd March,1985 
Oh, No Not Another Hotch Potch 4th / 5th April, 1986
Return of Hotch Potch  30th Sept / 1st Oct,1988
H.P. 5 23rd / 24th March, 1990
More Hotch Potch 6th / 7th Dec, 1991
H.P. Bites Back 19th / 20th March,1993
Hotch Potch Goes Bananas 18th / 19th November, 1994
Hotch Potch Tries Again 22nd / 23rd March, 1996
Hotch Potch X 14 & 15 November, 1997
Hotch Potch United 5th/6th March 1999
Hotch Potch ‘The Glorious Twelfth’ 30th/31st March, 2001
Hotch Potch 'The Baker's Dozen' 12th April, 2003 [click here for pictures from the show]

And so after 20 years, and 13 shows, Hotch Potch came to an end. A huge number of youngsters had performed in these shows over the years. They had been a lot of fun and given a lot of pleasure. But the last couple of shows became harder to stage, and, with The Baker's Dozen, it was time to lower the curtain for the last time.
