16th June 2007 - 1st Wivenhoe Scouts celebrate 100 years of Scouting on KGV Field

On Saturday 16th June 1st Wivenhoe Scouts planned an event on King George V Playing Field to celebrate the formation of the scouting movement 100 years ago. Several torrential rain showers during the day did not seem to dampen then enthusiasm of the Cubs and Scouts who played various games and took part in various pioneering activities.
