Thank you to everyone who used our delivery service to Wivenhoe addresses this year. On Saturday evening we sorted well over 3,000 cards and had teams of people going out around Wivenhoe's streets on Sunday 11h December trying to find addresses. Whilst mostly they are straightforward, some just don't seem to exist! In these few cases, a stamp will be applied and we'll let the more experienced postmen deal with them. This year we raised £341 for which thank you, a far cry from the £29.29 raised in 1982 when we started doing this, almost 25 years ago! From the bit of feedback we get, we know the service is appreciated which helps keep the team of volunteers motivated (I hope!). This sum of £341 makes 2005 a record year in terms of the amount raised. Thank you once again.
