December 2007 - Do you have a view on your rail service?

The newly formed Wivenhoe Rail Users Action Group (WRAG) would like to hear from you.

The intention is that WRAG will work alongside the other rail user groups both on the Colchester to Clacton branch line and across the One network to provide a voice for the commuters of Wivenhoe and the surrounding area and ensure proper representation and communication between those who use the railway and those who operate it.

The intention is to find those who would be interested in joining the group and draw up an agenda of issues which can then be raised with One management at a subsequent meeting.

Be it better timetabling, more efficient connections, or better notice of planned engineering works, we want our voice to be heard by those that make the decisions.

For WRAG to be fully representative it needs the support of those that use the service. Once we have been able to gauge the interest the intention is to hold an initial meeting in January to take the group forward.

If you are keen to have your say and would be interested in joining WRAG, please e-mail wragroup@googlemail.com with your details.
