WEA: new courses for 2008-09 Wivenhoe WEA is back in business with two new courses for 2008-09. In the autumn we shall be hosting “The Art of a Confusing Century – making sense of 20th century art”; a course of ten evening meetings with popular tutor Graham Slimming, beginning on Monday 15 September. The courses are held at Wivenhoe Methodist Church at 7.30 pm. In the New Year we are offering ten weeks on “The
Plant Hunters” with Peter White; the story of the adventurers and
professional plant hunters who brought back many of the plants that grace
our gardens today. This course
