Music at St Mary's Church Under the Musical Directorship of Graham Wadley, Wivenhoe has enjoyed wonderful musical occasions, set in the magnificence of St Mary's Church, with its high vaulted ceiling that lets the sound of the choir, the organ and from time to time, other instruments echo around the building. Since 2002, those attending these special occasions have heard such pieces as Faure's Requiem and the Little Organ Mass by Haydn. The Gift of Music and Gift of Voices Concerts, organised by the Fund-Raising Committee, complement the music performed as part of normal worship.
