St Mary's Church, Wivenhoe - Palm Sunday, Sunday 4th April, 2004

This year the Palm Sunday procession , recalling as it does the uplifting event of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem gives us a chance to enter the Easter season with an event that is different, hopefully exhilarating.

We shall meet at the river-end of Dry Dock in the new development at 10.00am on Sunday 4th April to recollect that historic occasion by processing to St Mary’s for the traditional reading of the Passion Narrative at the 10.30am Family Eucharist.

Everybody welcome.

Note: It was hoped that a live donkey could take part in the procession but it seems this is not going to be possible this year. Perhaps next.
