From Graham Wadley, Director of Music at St Mary's Church, Wivenhoe

Carols on the Quay has become a very popular event in Wivenhoe during the week before Christmas.  We normally have a small ad hoc band to accompany the singers - the variety of instruments is quite amazing!!

 

If there are any instrumentalists out there who would like to join us this year and are free from 7.45 pm for about an hour on Tuesday 21st December please get in touch with me as soon as possible.  Music will be provided (in the right key for your instrument if we have advance notice) but there is no opportunity to practice together in advance.  Players therefore need to be reasonably competent.
