There will be live music in one of the local estate agent
offices.
Almost
40 local organisations and charities are having stalls in
the Church and outside in the Churchyard raising money for good
causes.
And
if you are not sure what to buy as presents this year, consider a
picture or piece of pottery. Visit the 5 art exhibitions and
galleries which will be open. Click here
for their details.
Wivenhoe
will again be lit up by the substantial Christmas lighting planned
for the area and this should make the evening even more special

Thanks
to the Rotary Club of Brightlingsea, Santa will again be
travelling down the High Street to deliver this year's Mayor
of Wivenhoe, Cllr. Gilli Primrose, to the Churchyard where she
will turn on the Christmas Lights at exactly 6.00 pm.
Having
delivered the Mayor, Santa will be free to accept letters
addressed to him from children wishing to let him know what
they are hoping to receive in their stockings at Christmas.
All
letters need to have the name, address and age of the sender
so that Santa can reply to each and everyone.
A donation of £1.00 with letters will go to charity.
The
Wivenhoe Scout & Guide Association have kindly agreed to
deliver the replies from Santa as part of their normal
Christmas card delivery service. So start getting the writing
paper ready and start those letters to Santa he will only be
in Wivenhoe for one evening so don’t miss out.
