Wivenhoe
Pantomime
Group
The group produces a pantomime in January each year, with auditions
held during the summer and rehearsals starting in the autumn.
People from the age of ten are welcome to audition for the production,
as there are parts for all ages.
We also need backstage crew to supplement our existing helpers.
Each year's production is always a real team effort, with emphasis on having fun and
providing the audience with the best entertainment.

2006
Production - Peter Pan (Tues
24th Jan to Sat 28th Jan 2006)
Peter Pan is the enchanting tale of a boy who refuses to grow up.
When Peter loses his shadow in the home of the Darling family he
makes new friends and shows them just how easy it is to fly off to
Neverland. Peter, the Lost Boys and the Darling children experience
new wonders and dangers, including battles with Indians and a gang
of marauding pirates, led by the evil Captain Hook.
The Darling children and the lost boys decide it is time to go
home. On their way out of Neverland, Captain Hook kidnaps the Lost
Boys and the Darling children. Will Peter find a way to rescue them
before they are forced to walk the plank?
Filled with magic and adventure, Peter Pan will thrill audiences
of all ages.
