Parachuting at St Mary’s Church
Millfields
Primary School are again organising Teddy Parachuting at St Mary’s
Church. It will be held on Saturday 19th July from 2 – 4.30pm and open for everyone. Totally Balloons will be there selling balloons and teddies (for those who have forgotten theirs!). Age
Roofing will be on hand to retrieve wayward teddies and St Mary’s will
be providing refreshments. Other entertainment will include bouncy
castles, tombola and a story teller. Also Phoenix cards will be holding a
stall and there will hopefully be a face painter (to be confirmed). The
event was very successful last year with almost double the number of
teddies taking the plunge and hopefully, weather permitting we will do
equally as well this year. We’ve taken action to keep the queue as short
as possible with double the number of volunteers to help on the day. The
event will be held inside the church if the weather isn’t on our side.
