A New and Fantastic Martial Art has come to Wivenhoe !!!

Come to the Wivenhoe Scout and Guide Hall on Saturday mornings, 10.30 till 12.00, for a session of Escrima Concepts.

Escrima Concepts is a Philipino Martial Art, where the students use Rattans (bamboo sticks) to fight with.  Escrima Concepts is a armed and unarmed combat system. It uses 5 Concepts, Balance, Speed (Timing and Distance), Focus, Power and Transition.

Through these Concepts you will learn how to read body movement, control situations, understand your body mechanics and much, much more.. It is an Art that has a structured syllabus of theories and strategies; as explained by Chief Representative Steve Tappin, with the Masters and Instructors of the Escrima Concepts Organisation.

Escrima Concepts can teach children and adults. Come along and give it a go. £5 per session.

You will quickly see why "It's good to be Us".

If you do a Martial Art already, this will improve that "base" Art. Escrima Concepts will make you a better Martial Artist.
