| Well known local guitarist, Tim Whitnell, has published a
second solo CD. The official launch is on Sunday 19th January, 2003, at a
party in the Nottage Maritime Institute.
Called 'In a Mind To', it follows the success of Tim's first CD, 'Rex's Day' published now 5 years ago. [Tim - We've waited too long!]. The CD is instrumentals, mainly guitar, with the addition of other instruments to add flavour. All compositions are written by Tim. Tim Whitnell is a firm favourite at the Wivenhoe Folk Club where he can sometimes be persuaded to show off his skills with the guitar. On this brilliant CD, Tim plays: Acoustic Guitars 'In A Mind To' is a collection of 11 original compositions; some were written to be solo pieces, whereas others have additional instruments to achieve the original concept.
