We've been inundated with requests to do a gig from people who have seen us over the summer, and as our master percussionist will be with us in Wivenhoe this week in October to work on an album, we decided we'd take the opportunity to put a gig on locally.

So come and see us, The Fingersmiths, on Thursday 13th October upstairs at the Greyhound, supported by singer-songwriter Belinda Starling (also a Wivenhovian and just happens to be my wife - she's sung a few spots at the folk club before and this is a bit of a come-back gig for her after having babies).

October was meant to be a quiet time for us as we focus on recording our album, but....
