| William Frank Head - January 1909 - May 1978
The picture below right is of Pamela Callison's father, William Frank Head, and was taken in the 1920s. He was born in Wivenhoe on January 18, 1909, and died in Cambridge, in May 1978. Two of his brothers, John Head and Arthur Head are remembered on the Wivenhoe War Memorial from the WW1 as men who never came back. The family came from Wivenhoe. Pamela's great grandfathers, Joseph Head and James Warren were born in Wivenhoe, as were also her grandmother, Isabella Warren, February 13, 1866 and her grandfather, John Head 1858. Pamela too, was born here in Wivenhoe January 19, 1932. Pamela now lives in Missouri, USA, and wonders if anybody still remembers the Head family or can tell her any more about the Wivenhoe Juniors Football Club?
