Frickers
This image is available as a fine art print, a limited signed & numbered edition, direct from the artist or from the publisher, Solomon & Whitehead.
About the painting, Gordon Frickers said:
"This unique painting was carefully researched and especial thanks are due to my good friends the (famous) Beken family, who, as 3 generations of marine photographers at Cowes, knew the yacht well. Appreciating my work
and knowing it would be an interpretation not a copy, and in the interests of getting it right, they generously allowed me to examine
and print from many of their original glass negatives and advised on details
and true colours."
