Plans for proposed new Wivenhoe medical
centre to go on show
Plans for a proposed new medical centre in Wivenhoe are to go on public show
as part of a 12-week Public Information and Listening Exercise being
undertaken by NHS North East Essex.
As part of the exercise, all households in Wivenhoe will receive a 'Public
Information and Listening Exercise' leaflet during the week beginning 15th
December 2008.
The new centre is being developed under the Local Improvement Finance Trust
(LIFT) initiative and will provide new state-of-the-art facilities for the
existing Wivenhoe GP practice in The Avenue.
The public are invited to view the sketch plans and speak with members of
the LIFT team about plans and services at the following public events:
17th December 2008 between 9.30am-noon
19th January 2009 between 4.30pm and 7.30pm
Venue: William Loveless Hall, Wivenhoe
Sketch plans will also be on display at Colchester Primary Care Centre in
Turner Road, the Wivenhoe GP Practice and the Wivenhoe Town Council offices
in High Street.
The Public Information and Listening Exercise runs from December 15th 2008
until March 8th 2009. Any comments can be left in boxes provided at the
