Have your say about how the
Wivenhoe
Conservation Area
is protected
Colchester
Borough Council wishes to adopt and publish a Conservation Area
Appraisal to help protect, manage and enhance the Wivenhoe
Conservation Area.
The
Conservation Area is an area of the town that has a special
character and is of architectural and historic interest.

The
Appraisal will establish the most important characteristics of Wivenhoe
and propose appropriate ways to protect these characteristics, manage and
enhance the area.
Between
Monday
26th March and Friday 20th April
QuBE Planning Ltd, consultants appointed by CBC to help draw up this
Appraisal, would like your views on the draft of the Wivenhoe Conservation
Area Appraisal which has been produced.
There
are a number of ways you can tell us what you think:
1.
View
the draft Appraisal on the CBC's web site - click
here (Note: the Appraisal document is 6.3mb)
2.
Attend
the public exhibition on Thursday
29 March
in the Wyvern Room of the William Loveless Hall between 2.00pm and 8.00pm
when QuBE Planning will be available to answer your questions.
A printed copy of the draft Appraisal will be available to view and
response forms will be available for you to complete.
3.
Call
in to the Wivenhoe Library on the High Street to look at a printed copy of
the draft Appraisal and complete a response form.
The exhibition will also be available to view at the Library on 30
and 31 March.

in to the
Wivenhoe Town Council Offices on the High Street to look at a
printed copy of the draft Appraisal and complete a response form.
