February 2006 - The Wivenhoe Wordsmiths on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays

Following an inaugural meeting on the 18th January, 2006, Wivenhoe Wordsmiths has been formed for people interested in learning or developing the art of public speaking.

Having had a couple of meetings now, it is starting to feel established.

Wivenhoe Wordsmiths is a public speaking club which is looking to build a membership in Wivenhoe. The group is a member of Toastmasters International, a world wide organisation designed to enhance both communication and leadership skills.

Meetings are currently organised by members of Camulodunum Speakers Club which has operated in Colchester for over 21 years. They will be at the British Legion Hall on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.30 pm, finishing at 10.00pm.

Further information can be found on www.camulodunumspeakers.org.uk or from Bob Finch on 01206 869202, or just turn up and find out more by going along.
