| December Market 2006 - Around in
Wivenhoe's Streets
People enjoyed wandering around the streets, looking in shop windows
and sometimes venturing inside. Author Elisabeth Jeffery was signing
copies of her latest book Travellers' Inn in Wivenhoe Bookshop. Jane had
filled her florists Oops a Daisy with not just flowers but jewellry and
other items. There were wonderful aromas in the Village Delicatessen which
has just re-opened Tudor Tea Rooms.
Round the corner, Papa's Fish and Chip shop was doing a roaring trade
and some people were finding their way to Jane's Wivenhoe Eyecare &
Contact Lens Centre, and further on, in the Business Centre, Andy Bass was
serving wine to those people who came and looked at his Christmas
Exhibition of paintings, arts and crafts. Alan Gray in Axe Music too was
open with a variety of guitars and associated equipment available to
try.
