The Wivenhoe Encyclopedia

15th February, 2003 - Terry and Rita have announced their retirement after 7 happy years of running the Deli counter at Londis supermarket, Vine Parade, Wivenhoe.

Terry has established a reputation for his home-cooked hams and meats, after a life-time as butcher and as a chef. Between them, Terry and Rita have built up a loyal clientele for their great selection of cheeses and meats, and the happy way in which they have treated everyone.Terry at Terry and Rita's Deli Counter, Londis Supermarket, Wivenhoe

The end of trading under Terry and Rita will be on Saturday 19th April.  For them, some time on their narrow boat beckons, exploring the 2,000 miles of the UK's inland waterways.

This is not the end of fine cheeses and hams at the Deli, at Londis though. Richard has plans....!!

Terry and Rita, you will be missed.
