29th March 2007 - Temporary closure of footpaths at Cook's Shipyard extended

THE ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATHS 12 & 18 AND BYWAY 11, WIVENHOE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2006

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above Order made by Essex County Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 27 September 2007.

EFFECT OF THIS ORDER, which came into operation on 27 March 2006, is to temporarily close the following lengths of footpath and byway in Wivenhoe, in the Borough of Colchester:

Footpath 12

For its entire length  

Footpath 18 

Byway 11

For its entire length  

From its junction with Footpath 18, Wivenhoe north for 25 metres

An alternative route for all the closures will be via Walter Radcliffe Way, Brook Street, Black Buoy Hill and The Folly.

The closure is required to facilitate development works.
