16th March, 2006 - THE ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATHS 12 & 18 AND BYWAY 11, WIVENHOE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2006

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Essex County Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to temporarily close the following lengths of footpath and byway in Wivenhoe, in the Borough of Colchester:

Footpath 12

For its entire length

 

Footpath 18 For its entire length 

 

Byway 11

 

From its junction with Footpath 18, Wivenhoe north for 25 metres

An alternative route for all the closures will be via Walter Radcliffe Way, Brook Street, Black Buoy Hill and The Folley. 

The closures are scheduled to start on 27 March 2006 and are expected to last for 18 months, weather permitting, and are required to facilitate development works.

This Order will come into operation on 27 March 2006 and may continue in force for up to 6 months, unless extended by the Secretary of State, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
