Community Safety advice from Ken Rogers

On New Year's evening, a car was broken into and a satellite navigation system and a portable DVD player were stolen.

I advise that such equipment be removed from your vehicle when left unattended - or do not leave such equipment on display.

Leave the vehicle in a well lit place - if regularly parked outside your home, consider lighting that activates on movement.

Post code property and display a sticker in the car window that all property is post coded.

Do you know of any person who maybe in possession of stolen satellite navigation equipment or other stolen goods?

If so telephone the police or email me - the source of information will not be disclosed.

Cllr Ken Rogers.  Police Liaison and Community Safety - Neighbourhood Watch Co-coordinator.
