July 2007 - Wivenhoe Community Safety Neighbourhood Watch Launch MARINE WATCH 

Working with various agencies, Wivenhoe Community Safety Neighbourhood Watch is providing additional 'Marine Watch' due to recent thefts of boats and equipment.

In an endeavour to stop this sudden criminal activity the group will be paying special attention to the Wivenhoe waterfront. Police boat, vehicle and cycle patrols will be increased.

PLEASE SECURE YOUR BOATS AND EQUIPMENT

Place valuables in a locker that has a strong hasp and padlock.
Write down the serial numbers of equipment with photographs.
Post code your valuables - assistance is available with the use of post coding equipment - Mr & Mrs Hatch tel no: 01206 823135.
Consider the fitting of a intruder alarm.

BOAT STOLEN

Report to HM Coast Guard who may assist to locate your boat. Also report to your local police and the Community Safety Neighbourhood Watch.

SUSPECTED PERSONS

Report suspicious activities immediately to police and to the Wivenhoe Community Safety Group members.
