WARNING ABOUT CAR RELATED CRIME by Cllr Ken Rogers, Wivenhoe's Community Safety Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator

The most prevalent crime in the UK has hit Wivenhoe.

A number of cars have been searched for property due to being left unlocked. Property has been stolen and one car removed.

Please lock/secure your vehicles, failing to do this may result in any claim being refused by the insurance company. Further allowing - encouraging - thefts of and from vehicles increases the car insurance for everyone else in your post-code district. Therefore please prevent problems for yourself and others and secure your vehicles.
