In September 2005, Jane Shimmen opened a florists shop in the
building on the corner of High Street and Station Road, called Oops!
a Daisy.
Years ago it was also a florist shop, and a fine
one too that many people no doubt remember.
Jane sells flowers, making
bouquets for any occasion, including weddings, and does floral design work.
Since 2005, she has does a lot of weddings and has a lot of happy

Apart from flowers, she also holds
a range of gifts and jewellry. And at Christmas, more effort goes
into changing what is on the shelves. To cope with a growing
business, another familiar face on Wivenhoe High Street, Alison, has
joined her.
