Printworks is a small gallery run by Elly Robinson, recently transferred to Wivenhoe after ten years in Colchester and then Sudbury. She specialises in the sale of original prints — wood engravings, wood and linocuts, etchings and lithographs — as well as all kinds of work on paper, including paintings and drawings, small press books, hand made cards plus pottery and ceramics.

Original prints are affordable and original works of art of high quality and enduring value. They are conceived as prints by the artist and hand printed onto acid-free paper in limited numbers from the original block or plate that he or she has worked on.
