November 2005 - Allcock and Stevens - nearly one year at their new home in Station Road

It was nearly one year ago that Allcock and Stevens moved into their new premises in Station Road, moving from the High Street, opposite the Church where they had been a familiar part of the street scene for so many years.

They still offer the same services ranging from selling electrical items as televisions, videos, hi-fi systems and vacuum cleaners, as well as a full repair service. In addition to selling new items, they also carry a stock of  re-furbished items as TVs and videos.

Despite the cosiness of their new location, they manage to offer a wide range of smaller electrical items as light bulb and fittings. And what they don't have in the shop, they can order in.

One especially useful service they provide, is the fitting of batteries in watches. Funny how they can run out at a most inconvenient moment.

One thing of course that hasn't been lost in the move, is the personal service provided by Tony Allcock and Carol Allcock.
