I
have recently moved to Wivenhoe.
I
am primarily a self-taught artist. Although, after finishing my
degree in Zoology, I was awarded a place at Hornsey College of Art
to study scientific illustration. Finances prevented me from taking
up the place and I began my professional life as a scientist -
undertaking research in Radiation Biology.

| My love of
art never left me, however, and in later life I was able to combine
art with my scientific background when offered the opportunity to
study Botanical Illustration, working in water colour and pencil.
This complements well my other passion and occupation - that of
garden designer (see www.greenfuse.org.uk). |

I sell my paintings, undertake commissions
and also produce my paintings as prints and as cards.
