Resident in the riverside town of Wivenhoe, Essex giving Anthony access to unlimited inspiration for his watercolours of estuaries, beaches, shallow pools with reflections, often with a human interest of people captured enjoying a moment in time.

Continuing his policy of trying to reach as wide an audience as possible, new exhibition venues have included Lincoln and Norwich Cathedral.

A third consecutive award at the Braintree Open was won in 2004.

Also highly commended for the second year running in The Artist magazine Patchings exhibition.

The Mall Galleries:

Accepted and hung in both The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and The Royal Institute of Marine Artists.

The Westminster Gallery- accepted and hung in Society of Botanical Artists exhibition.

County Shows- include The Royal Norfolk, Royal Bath and West, and Tendring.

As well as supporting many local church exhibitions and village halls, he has exhibited for many local good causes.

Past awards have included Society for All Artists, St Cuthbert’s Paper Mill, Artist Magazine and Eastern Arts Council.

Other venues he has exhibited at include The Beecroft at Southend, Hylands House in Chelmsford, The Oakwood Gallery in Maldon and Picturecraft Gallery in Holt, Norfolk.
